Emmanuel (Christian) School is looking to make some new appointments for September 2008. This is an exciting time for the school with the likelihood of a new building and a developing vision to provide Christian education for the West Midlands. There is the possibility of 3 or 4 new posts but these are dependent on finances and it will not be finally known for a few weeks as to how many of these posts we can appoint. We see this work as a calling and the salary involves a considerable level of sacrifice (volunteers would also be welcome!). We would not rule out job shares for some of these posts.
Lower School (Nursery to Year 2)
A full–time teaching post; working in a team in the lower school taking responsibility in the Early Years or Infant classrooms.
Junior School
We are looking for a full-time teacher who will mainly teach a Year 3/4 class or possibly a Year 5/6 class.
Secondary School
We are looking for at least one full-time teacher to join this section of the school. As we are a small school, we need a teacher who is flexible and able to teach a range of subjects. We have a pressing need for a French (or possibly another language) teacher. After that any other subjects would be discussed but could include any of the following: Art, Music, Maths, History, Geography, IT, PE and English.
If interested, please contact the school by telephone on 01922 635810 or by E-mail at office@emmanuel.walsall.sch.uk for more details or an application form.
Interviews are likely to take place in late May or early June.
EmmanuelSchool is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a CRB disclosure at the appropriate level. EmmanuelSchool will seek references for short-listed candidates and may approach previous employers for information to verify particular experience and qualifications before the interview.
