Prospects Causeway is a Christian mission team which supports 180+
church based groups by providing advice, support and training, and by
designing and producing Christian materials that can be used by the
churches in their own groups for people with learning disabilities.
Causeway staff also speak at Christian meetings and mission
events, lead worship in churches and regularly meet with church and
mission leaders.
We now seek a Fundraising Manager to develop, establish and
maintain sources of funding that will enable our mission development
team to pursue its chosen initiatives to support people with learning
disabilities in their spiritual lives. This will involve creating and managing
internal initiatives, working with external agencies, churches and
approaching major donors and trust funds.
You must have a strong track-record of successful, innovative fund
raising, experience of professional programme management and
persistence in the face of disappointments. You will have the credibility
to present to and negotiate with senior decision makers for high value
grants and be prepared to represent Causeway at evangelism
events, sharing the Gospel when required. You will be required to take
part in the prayer life of Causeway and lead prayer for the fundraising
function. The position will involve some travel and overnight stays.
Salary: up to £30,000. Closing date: 23rd April, 2010; Interviews: 7th
