In this session the team will help us to take a fresh look at the communities we serve and ask ourselves is who we are relevant to the people we are attempting to reach. In this session we will look at three models of mission and there effectiveness.
- Attractional – This is asking people to come and join the activities you already have in place. Alpha etc.
- Engaging – Activities that touch a community, works of service etc. This remains a come and visit us model.
- Emerging – This is starting in the community and staying the community. Planting something new that people can connect to. This is the main emphasis of the day.
