Dearest Black Countryites,

We trust that you are well. Hope you don't get too SAD as the winter nights set in, as we can always remember that Christmas will soon be upon us!

My ramblings this time will be short, but there are quite a few things coming up in the next week or so, as below, so we thought we'd get this one out asap.

Much love,

Tim.

Dear Munchers

A lovely email for your consumption from the Tim-o-meister...J     :-)

It was great to see many of you last time and we hope that you were refreshed and challenged and encouraged and strengthened and equipped and inspired and built up and released and delivered....etc....etc!

We hope you can join us again next time on the first Wednesday in November....same place, same time......4thNovember......we will continue the sector journey together.

Please book in via this e-mail or tim@thenet.org.uk a soon as you can.

PLEASE ALSO BE FULLY REMINDED that many of you haven’t yet booked in for our Christmas Bash on the EVENING (yes, evening) of 2nd December, and we only have around 20 places left now......please don’t leave it to the last minute or just turn up on the night as we have a hotel room restriction of 100 seats, and 80 have already gone!!

We’re sorry to say that Malcolm Duncan can no longer join us due to health issues (pray for him), but rest assured we’re now busy trying to find someone to fill his very excellent boots!

Please get in there now, and please also understand that reserving your seats must be quickly followed up with payment due to the nature of this evening. Bookings for this are via tim@thenet.org.uk , and payment can be done in two ways; 1) send us a cheque payable to THE NET for £15 each, or use the PAYPAL facility on www.thenet.org.uk (please add £1 per ticket if you use this).

Cheers all,

Tim/Jolyon & Team

Loaves n Fishes request/news
Hi to all you ladies out there, could you spare three hours a week/ month

Loaves n fishes, from the end of November, will be openeing up a clothing ministry.

We were contacted by St. Giles who have run one for many years and supported hundreds with giving them clothes, for free. They have had to close due to no funding and asked us to continue the work.

As you can imagine a woman, for example, fleeing domestic violence; will sometimes literally have no time to pack and turn up at the refuge with what she is wearing and owning nothing else, that includes the children.

It will be running on two mornings/afternoons a week,(to suit), on a referral basis on alternative days to the usual opening times.

It needs, one to manage and one to assist, more to give hand would be great but two most definately.

All details will be given to those who have it in their hearts to want to help.

Yours in Him

Anna

TRICKS AND TREATS IN BILSTON

Please see attached details of a fantastic event for 5-11yr olds at Bilston Town Hall on Saturday 31st October from 6:30-8pm.

“Tricks AND Treats” is a great ‘Alternative’ to Halloween. The aim is to help reduce anti social behaviour and present and positive message of Hope to children in the area. Children will have fun playing games, watching videos, doing craft, watching drama, and of course some tricks and plenty of treats. It’s just £1 per family and is sure to be a great event!

Booking in not required. Children can turn up on the day with their parents who will need to fill in a consent form for them.

Please let me know if you require any printed posters or flyers (01902) 498781.

Please pass on to any who may be interested.

Kind Regards,Daniel Lee
