An opportunity to meet and hear Bishop George Erwau, Bishop of Soroti, Uganda

Tuesday 11th October at 8.00pm
Chawn Hill Church, Chawn Hill, Stourbridge

Northern Uganda has suffered much over the past 25 years from insurgency, terrorism, floods, drought and acute poverty. One of the regions in the area is Teso with 1.6 million people.

Teso Development Trust works with the Teso Christian Churches who are in the frontline of  feeding the hungry, providing clean water, giving medical care,  building schools and improving agriculture. The Churches have been growing rapidly and help has been given to support ministry training to grow the many new leaders they need to build the Kingdom.

We are inviting you to a rare opportunity to meet one of the senior Bishops of the Church of Uganda who, as Bishop of Soroti, is at the centre of the Churches’ work to tackle the area’s acute problems and bring the message of Christ to the people.

·      Bishop George Erwau will be speaking on the challenges of Teso
·      Dave Watts, the Trust Coordinator, will give a presentation on some of the projects the Trust has been supporting
·      There will be an opportunity for questions and refreshments
