Black Country Foodbank news
Hi everyone,
Wendy has asked me to drop you an e-mail.
Thank you soooo much for your brilliant response to last week’s appeal for UHT milk. Please keep it coming.
We now have the numbers fed for February.
You fed –610 people (including 207 children)
That’s an 89 % increase on February 2010.
(In March 2010 we fed 622 people, if that increase is repeated this year we need your help)
So, what we after?
The Storehouse needs:
· Tinned Tomatoes
· Tinned Potatoes
· Tinned Carrots
· Rice
· Coffee
· UHT Milk
· UHT Fruit Juice
· Cooking Sauces

· Shower Gel
· Toothpaste
I’ve also attached our shopping list for you to distribute.
Please will you ask your contacts to talk to their work places about collecting food in offices.
Have you got contact in schools, would they collect for us (staff and all children/families)?

as you can see, we need your donations of food to keep coming in.
