W-YFC needs local volunteers for 2011/12. Volunteering with W-YFC is a great opportunity for people to use their gifts and talents in a way that can impact and change the lives of young people across the city of Wolverhampton and work alongside others who share the same vision.
Wolverhampton Youth for Christ’s aim is “to take the gospel relevantly to every young person in Wolverhampton”. We currently do this through :
Sports (football cage), Drama, Schools work, Mentoring, Church groups, Youth clubs and our UNITE youth event.
Volunteers can be involved for one project or type of outreach or become a full time volunteer; there are lots of options and opportunities to serve God across our city.
YOUTH WORK TRAINING
Wolverhampton Youth For Christ also runs an accredited training course “INITIATE Youth Work” for people who wish to obtain a Level 3 qualification in youth work.
