GENnet Kids Weekend Away Update
Over 75 kids and 25 adults went to Quinta for the BIG weekend for 8 – 11 year olds. 8 different congregations were represented. We called it Egyptian expedition as we explored the story of Joseph together. We raced chariots, made mummies, preformed the world premier of our musical Joseph’s not so amazing Technicolor dreamcoat. We also squirted paint at leaders in order to create our own dreamcoats and did the granny pants relay!! There was powerful worship too and sessions looking into forgiveness, dreams, talents and Gods plans for our lives. The kids had a great time and we think the leaders did too!!!
We are already receiving some great reports from people that went, plesae don’t miss out when the dates come out for next year!!!! Yes we have provisionally booked again for next year!!
A massive thank you to everyone who invested their talents, finance and time into this awesome weekend for the kids of the Black Country Church!!!
