At Loaves n fishes in 2010 we were blessed with being able to fill a truck to Romania, send a van full to Bulgaria for the baby fund and sent blankets to Albania, All because of the wonderful provision from people with beautiful hearts who want to give .
Now in 2011 we are collecting for Kenya, a group of 17 from Regis Christian fellowship are going to an orphanage of 30 lads, 17 women who care for them and a team of men in April.
The plan so far is to send 8 with an extra case holding gifts, and to leave the cases there, so first anyone with a spare case they don’t want ?……
The other 9 we hope can take an instrument so again anyone got anything……tambourine, guitar, etc etc
for the lads…( this is the one we need most help with)we have been told they like the football teams so any football shirts out there want to go to kenya, all sizes welcome , any teams for the women we have been told they are mostly larger ladies and would appreciate clothes ……. knickers n bras……remember the weather gals! nothing too heavy…
for the men, shirts and ties…anyone got a Christmas shirt they didn’t really like……..
The orphanage has a bunch of lads who were found from the streets, left for one reason or another and thank God taken in by this group of people. There are lads of all ages and sizes.
