Christian business people have been meeting in Wolverhampton Science Park to pray for businesses in the city. “A small group of Christian business people had been meeting to pray for businesses in the city for a couple of years”, explains Vicky Hughes, who runs her own business in the city. “At the start of 2015, we felt God nudge us to take the meeting outside of the Church walls and into the heart of business in the city”.
Wolverhampton Science Park is a hub of business activity across the City of Wolverhampton and is home to 50 different businesses. The group felt like they wanted to be in the centre of this important location for business in Wolverhampton when they prayed, believing God wants all believers to operate as His disciples out in the marketplace.
“We were so encouraged by the turnout of 22 people from 8 different Churches in the city, all representing different arenas of business and lines of work.”
The group were supported by Bill Mash of Black Country Urban Industrial Mission, who joins them in their vision to pray for and support businesses in the City.
They will be meeting again on Monday 16th March and anyone is welcome to join them. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
