Saltmine Theatre Company are delighted to announce that they will be performing their hilarious comedy In the Beginning at Chawn Hill Church on Sunday 30th January!
This show is an amusing and fast-paced journey through the story of the start of all things – it’s an emotional roller coaster – with one part guaranteed to have you in floods! You’ve never seen the book of Genesis like this – with a host of unlikely characters all finding themselves caught up in one of the greatest tales ever told.
This performance will start at 7pm. The show is ideal for anyone aged 12 and above. Entrance is free but an offering will be taken.

Bert and Horace own a scrap-yard, they collect all the rubbish that the world doesn’t want, but one day they’re very surprised to stumble upon a young man called Jack, who’s living in their yard.
Listen as they hear Jack tell his story of how he has taken his inheritance and left his home to explore life in the big city, leaving a heartbroken dad and a furious brother. His new life of freedom starts well enough, but soon he finds the more sour side of it and starts to wonder whether he’s really made the right decision after all…
This innovative, contemporary re-telling of the Prodigal Son will be enjoyed by all ages. The performance takes place on Sunday 13th February at 11am.
