Dear friend
Another momentous year is already drawing to a close. The world is filled with fear and foreboding, powerless in the face of the global threats we face. But we are grateful that we have received a kingdom that cannot be shaken and this is the great news for the world we live in.
I trust you have enjoyed a fruitful year and God is preparing your heart for all he has for us in 2012.
I am writing with a reminder of two up-coming events:
Leaders’ Prayer Lunch
Firstly, our final leaders’ prayer lunch is taking place on Tuesday 13th December, 12.30pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church. You should already be aware that this will include a ‘Christmas meal’ lovingly prepared by Jonathan Somerville’s team! Please let Jonathan know if you intend to be there so they can prepare adequately.
Proclaim 12
Secondly, we will be holding a joint church celebration in January entitled ‘Proclaim 12’. This will be similar to the one we held this January which was a great blessing and encouragement to the many people who came. The evening will feature a mixture of worship, prayer, testimony, news and inspiring words from two local leaders. Just to remind you, the details are as follows:
Proclaim 12 takes place on Friday 27th January, 7.30-9.30pm at the Church at Broad Street. It is open to all believers and we especially encourage you as a minister in the city to come and stand together with other minsters and leaders as we proclaim the good news stories of all God is doing in our city and all he intends to do in 2012.
