This is the first e-mail that has more general news and some great things for you to be involved in. The second e-mail is a poster of the GENnet conference that we have been talking about in the last few e-mails!!
Please look at both and book into the conference, the gathering and also the weekend away ASAP, all aim to be quality times.

GENnet Gathering -
Maybe a little short notice, but here is an upcoming evening not to be missed....just 3 weeks away.
Our next GENnet gathering is on Monday 23rd July from 6pm onwards at the Stourton Rugby Club in Stourbridge. Here is a link to the rugby club website and the directions..http://www.stourbridge-rugby.com/directions.
This event is aimed at the whole GENeration....children, youth, students, 18-30s etc!! We especially want to invite and welcome young families, hence the 6pm start, and the rest of you, though welcome at 6pm, can follow on later from 7.30pm.
We will have a function room with a bar for drinks and nibbles. Outside there will be a few inflatable’s for kids and adults. We will have a big slide where 3 can go at a time....yippee!! Just check the link to see how big!!

There will also be a 5-a-side football game, so come ready for sport.

A free one day confrence suitable for bands,managers,promoters, sound engineers or anyone intrested in the area of christian rock music.
Topics covered in past confrences have included -- getting the most from recording -- working with producers -- the management role --
This years speakers include --- Dave Williams - currently head of Meltdown Ministries and has been working in the music industry for over 20 yrs starting out as an A & R guy for FM revolver dave has been involved with all areas of touring, managing and promoting bands he is now also working with Greenbelt for the 3rd year running putting on one of the most exciting and popular stages at the current time -- Steve Speakman - also has been involved in the music industry for a long time and has worked in both the secular and christian scenes with notable sucess currently working in Neath, Wales in a ministry that is having a big impact on alternative music fans in the community
The confrence starts at 10am and will finish around 5pm with a break for lunch (not provided) also there will be a free gig on the night with a couple of the bands attending
