For many years, we have sought to gather people in business as a direct leading from God. Over recent months, we have followed the direction we sense that God has been leading us in and widened this to include "social entrepreneurs" and people involved in Local Govt.
This last time, we invited some people involved in the sectors below, again, in response to what we genuinely believe The Lord is saying to us. We were joined by quite a few new people who also sensed the hand of God in this new movement
We hope that many of you have also been picking this up and are ready to face new challenges and investigate new ways and opportunities as The Church in THE MARKETPLACE to take Jesus into our sectors and our communities, however they are shaped.
In the next session, we will be sharing more of what we senseThe Lord has been saying concerning the expansion of Business Net to increase the impact of the church into society by simply being who we are , where we are.............
We looked at how The Church could be revealed in the following sectors.........through people ALREADY THERE...!!
LAW EDUCATION SOCIAL SERVICES MEDIA/ARTS BUSINESS POLITICS HEALTH

Wherever we happen to find ourselves, we can "be about our FATHER'S BUSINESS".
So, Business Net has a RENEWED desire and a mandate to help us reach into our sectors and communities, and the whole of society in The Black Country can be impacted in a far more effective way by a church that reaches out as well as gathers in. It is time to sow and its time to stand with and encourage each other in our calling to our workplaces.
Please invite others....especially those who carry leadership giftings in these sectors as we are also looking to find champions in each of the sectors above.

.**The hotel is situated on the dual-carriageway between Dudley Castle and Burnt Tree island (where the A4123 crosses past Dudley). It is directly opposite The Village Hotel on Castle Gate. There is a small car-park in front of the hotel which is usually quite congested. You can also park on the road on the left BEFORE the hotel coming from Burnt Tree island (which is the only way to access the hotel), and a rear car-park is accessible by taking the left turn BEFORE the hotel coming from same direction and following the road round behind).
