The CAN Christmas Radio Campaign 2006
Hi everyone,
This summer I had the pleasure of visiting Belfast and speaking at “Summer Madness”. 5000 young people packed the Kings Hall for 5 nights. The atmosphere was electric; the belief that God would change their city was inspiring. The young people then transformed their words, prayers and song into action. Travelling in coaches across the city to do remarkable acts of kindness. I travelled with 500 young people to a cemetery in Belfast, overgrown and neglected. Because of the sectarian divide the graveyard had become out of bounds to parts of the wider community, with gangs of drunken young men sat around, the place felt intimidating. 500 teenagers in bright safety coats got to work, clearing, chopping, weeding paths and showing the love of God to the local community.
The Kingdom of God is about action not location, it is an invitation to join the work of his Kingdom.
What is his Kingdom all about?
Well, it starts with servant-kingship based in love, self-sacrifice and an invitation to be part of this “like little children” Matt 18:1-4. In short, it is God’s character and works being seen on earth in relationship, holiness, love and power of Christ through miracles.
These young people showed God’s character with ever pull of every weed; they expressed it in relationship by telling the community why they had come to serve.
The Kingdom Jesus spoke of was not about a realm, one spot, borders around the land. The Kingdom is about His rule coming across the world, not location but action, he did not invade the world he came and invited the world to join his Kingdom.
As we work together as the Net let us express the character of his Kingdom, by the way we serve, love, relate and share together.
I look forward to coach loads of Christians doing remarkable acts of kindness.
Phil.

GATHERING THE PRAYER LEADERS OF THE BLACK COUNTRY
WITH
MARTIN SCOTT
23RD NOVEMBER AT AMBLECOTE CHRISTIAN CENTRE, AMBLECOTE STOURBRIDGE 8.00pm – 9.30pm
Hello and I hope you are all well. You will be aware that the prayer leaders of the Black Country are meeting several times a year in different location throughout the Black Country. Our next meeting is on the 23rd of November and is at Amblecote CC. For those of you who don’t know the church it is situated on Brettel Lane. (DY8 4BS)
On this evening we have Martin Scott with us again. Martin had a major impact on our lives during the May Prophetic Prayer Conference. I am confident you will remember how significant May was in our journey together in the Black Country as we prayed together for our area. Martin carries a strong prophetic anointing and is used by God all around the world teaching and leading the body of Christ in prayer.
This evening together provides us with another opportunity to receive prophetic input into our area and for us to join together in prayer for the salvation of the 1.2 million people who live in the four boroughs that make up our Black Country Region.
Please do all you can to join with us on this evening and of course feel free to bring others from with you.
See you on the night,
Adrian Lowe

ARE YOU A CHAMPION?
Become a NET contact point in your church/organization/area....
We are always looking for people to help us spread THE KINGDOM MESSAGE throughout The Black Country, and for people to act as CHAMPIONS of the UNITY/One Body call in our region. With over 1,000,000 souls to reach, no one church can possibly suceed, yet at the same time, only ONE CHURCH possibly can, TOGETHER!
Maybe you could volunteer to be a NET CHAMPION in your congregation/organization?
To do this, you would need to have,or develop CREDIBILITY and FAITHFULNESS where you are, and we would also ask that you sought the permission of your "spiritual leaders". This is not A POSITION, but a way of serving THE WIDER BODY. We do not issue TITLES either, and as such, we need to be sensible and act in a way that is honourable to all.
The Net is a body that believes in The Local Church, and as such, we believe in Biblical Leadership, though we recognize that with so many traditions and streams, there are various flavours and shapes. We always endeavour to give honour and respect to what The Lord has established in the past as we seek to discover and encourage what He is shaping now.
BUT WE NEED HELP.....to communicate strategy, events and news into local congregations especially......;
If you feel that you would like to help, then please talk to your leaders about this, and then get in contact with us.
Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching - it has been confirmed by Royal Mail.
The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam:
A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize. If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call
Non-members may attend 3 events each year without joining!
