Many have asked us over the years how The Net is funded. Essentially, we have been financed by ordinary people and a few handfulls of church congregations. But we sense that things have been changing again recently, and we want to give you opportunity to SOW into what God is doing with us TOGETHER in our region................ |
You can do this in various ways; 1)you can now make one-off donations on-line with credit/debit cards; 2)you can download standing order and GIFT AID forms there too. If you do not see God at work in what we're about, or in our vision, then please ignore this, but if you recognize His hand on our vision, strategy and activity, you can now be part of what is happening by sowing into US....yes, "US". This is your opportunity to respond, both now, and in future as this will regularly feature on our web-site as we are not a government-funded organization, but a Kingdom Body depending on The Body to produce the necessary funding and resources to keep the synergy in motion..........as and when and how you sense such leading........

Bobby Conner, a true father figure who carries a renowned prophetic anointing and who God has placed as a watchmen over this area, has set aside time to minister specifically into the lives of youth and young adults next week!

Who is Bobby Conner? You've heard of many people who have a prophetic anointing or gifting, but Bobby is a prophet. He is so fresh, un-religious and has a hilarious sense of humour! He can relate to anyone on a deep level instantly. He is probably our favourite speaker, because he doesn't fit into any box but you know that he has such a close and real relationship with Jesus. We know that what he will bring to share with us will contain amazing insight into what day and age we are in, what God has planned for us - corporately and individually.

Heidi Baker is a woman who has abandoned everything in passionate pursuit of God. She has given her life to the nation of Mozambique, one of the second poorest nations in the world. By going where Jesus called her and loving the outcast, the orphan and the desperately poor; Revival has broken out. Together with her husband, Rolland, they have seen 7 000 churches planted in Mozambique, witnessed the miraculous power of God and His awesome intervention first hand, and are seeing a whole nation begin to change. Heidi and Rolland Baker will be ministering at the Heaven on Earth conference from Wednesday 14 - Saturday 17 March, alongside Bobby Conner, Stuart Bell, Paul Keith Davis and Trevor and Sharon Baker. I can guarantee that it will be an awesome time in the presence of God where you will receive teaching and impartation to take you to new levels with God.

For many years, we have sought to gather people in business as a direct leading from God. Over recent months, we have followed the direction we sense that God has been leading us in and widened this to include "social entrepreneurs" and people involved in Local Govt.
This last time, we invited some people involved in the sectors below, again, in response to what we genuinely believe The Lord is saying to us. We were joined by quite a few new people who also sensed the hand of God in this new movement
We hope that many of you have also been picking this up and are ready to face new challenges and investigate new ways and opportunities as The Church in THE MARKETPLACE to take Jesus into our sectors and our communities, however they are shaped.
In the next session, we will be sharing more of what we senseThe Lord has been saying concerning the expansion of Business Net to increase the impact of the church into society by simply being who we are , where we are.............
We looked at how The Church could be revealed in the following sectors.........through people ALREADY THERE...!!
LAW EDUCATION SOCIAL SERVICES MEDIA/ARTS BUSINESS POLITICS HEALTH

So, Business Net has a RENEWED desire and a mandate to help us reach into our sectors and communities, and the whole of society in The Black Country can be impacted in a far more effective way by a church that reaches out as well as gathers in. It is time to sow and its time to stand with and encourage each other in our calling to our workplaces.
Please invite others....especially those who carry leadership giftings in these sectors as we are also looking to find champions in each of the sectors above.

.**The hotel is situated on the dual-carriageway between Dudley Castle and Burnt Tree island (where the A4123 crosses past Dudley). It is directly opposite The Village Hotel on Castle Gate. There is a small car-park in front of the hotel which is usually quite congested. You can also park on the road on the left BEFORE the hotel coming from Burnt Tree island (which is the only way to access the hotel), and a rear car-park is accessible by taking the left turn BEFORE the hotel coming from same direction and following the road round behind).
The BNP continue to gain electoral success by hiding their true fascist politics. They even claim not to be racist! In Dudley the BNP were just 20 votes from winning the council seat in Coseley, and weren’t far away in Gornal too.
In Sandwell the BNP already has 4 councillors elected and are seeking to win more. All anti-racists, anti-fascists and trade unionists need to expose the BNP for what it is so that people are not conned into voting for fascists. The UAF leafleting in Coseley last year made all the difference between the BNP winning and not winning the seat.
Black Country UAF are calling upon all supporters to make an effort for two days, this and on 1st of April in Sandwell (see attached flyer) where we aim to distribute tens of thousands of leaflets explaining to people why they must vote against the BNP. Please do your best to join us.

Some time ago you kindly wrote to thank us for our documentary about Mary Seacole. First, I'd like to say how much we appreciate your response to the programme, which we were very proud of. I'm now writing to let you know about another documentary that might be of interest to you. To mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade, we've made a programme called The Last Slave which follows a young, black Londoner called David Monteith as he traces the story of his ancestor, Archibald Monteith. Archibald was one of the few slaves to leave an account of his life, giving his descendent an opportunity to understand his ancestry and his experience of slavery. The programme follows David on a powerful and moving journey to Jamaica and then to Nigeria as he confronts the reality of Archibald's life.
The Last Slave will be broadcast on Channel 4 at 8pm on Sunday March 11th. You can really help us by emailing friends and contacts and spreading the word about this documentary. It's important to us that this programme , which is an inspiring and important story marking a major anniversary, reaches as many viewers as possible.
