ENCOURAGING INSIGHT FROM EX-PAT FROM A RECENT VISIT Hi Net News Readers, Just a quick note to 'share' with you a recent thought and impression of the West Midlands. I am Dudley born and breed and indeed became a Christian at what is now known as the Dudley Christian Fellowship. I now live in Italy, but, like all ex-pats I returned to my home town for Christmas and New Year. My impression of the area was very positive. Spiritual I felt that something had shift and this shift was from hopelessness (which I strongly felt, some eighteen months ago) to hope. After several conversations with friends in the area, I found it interesting that the Churches were making tighter links with each other. Is that a coincidence or is the Spiritual atmosphere changing in the Midlands? Guys, I really want to encourage you to guard the work that the Lord is doing. We are not unaware of the devices of the enemy, but we need to keep our eyes upon Him. Jesus didn't do anything that He didn't see the Father doing, and neither must we (I speak to myself also) Really appreciate the Spirit of Love and Unity that you guys are spreading around and by so doing unravelling strongholds that have been built. Love, Joy (in Milan). BLACK COUNTRY PRAYER DATES--FUTURE NOTICE GIVEN--
Prophetic Prayer Conference for The Black Country on the 19th, 20th and 21st of May with some leading UK Prophetic voices. Please put the dates in your diary.....more details to follow.
ALSO------PLEASE SEE DETAILS NEXT TIME ON A PRAYER LEADERS' EVENING ON 27TH FEBRUARY.
BETEL SHOP IN DUDLEY
Having recently purchased some excellent furniture from BETEL'S, I promised them that I would mention them in NETNEWS as they do such a fantastic work with ex-addicts, and their furniture is real quality......not your typical charity/second hand store at all.....and not your average charity either! They save lives, and have an excellent record in this field....well worth a contact if you, or a friend/relative is struggling with addictions.
If you need to get some furniture, they are definitely worth a visit....in the Upper High St, and they also have shops in Birmingham.
