Leaders’ Training Course ‘Evangelism Explosion’
Effective personal evangelism training: Many Christians find it hard to share their faith as often or as effectively as they would like - not because they don’t want to, but because they have not been equipped to do so.
EE provides church leaders with a practical training programme. Combining a clear, comprehensive gospel presentation, with on-the-job training EE has proved effective in every nation of the world: equipping believers to be fruitful disciples. Established in the UK in 1975 it has been used by evangelical churches across the denominational spectrum.
A Leaders' Training Course (LTC) is a 6-day* residential training event for church leaders wanting to implement Evangelism Explosion training in their own churches They usually run from Saturday lunchtime until the following Thursday evening. The Course includes on-the-job training which is usually undertaken at an appropriate time on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Course equips participants to:
• present the gospel in a clear and concise manner
• recognise which aspects of the gospel to stress in different situations
• be more confident in their ability to deal with objections
• be able to lead a person to Christ
• be certificated as teacher/trainers* in Evangelism Explosion (subject to achieving an adequate standard)
Certification is dependent upon participants attending the whole course including the on-the-job training visits.
*A teacher/trainer certificate will be awarded to those successfully completing the Course who are in leadership positions within their church or appointed by their churches as having relevant experience of teaching and visiting. This certification is needed to ensure that the church leader is qualified to teach the EE programme in a church. He/she can also act as a trainer for a team during on-the-job training.
Cost for the six-days is just £150 - including meals and accommodation.
